Navigating IQSweb Help - Help Search
The user can access help screens from any page of the IQSweb application after logging in by clicking on one of the two help links that are found on each page - upper right and lower left.
Users can navigate help using the Contents Links, alphabetical Index or by Searching for a specific topic.
Contents can be accessed by clicking on the individual heading. A heading marked by a sheaf of papers means that there is only one page in that help topic.
A heading marked by a file folder with papers in it means that there are subtopics within that content area. Click on that topic to expand and view all the topics in that content area.
The topic the user is viewing is highlighted on the contents page with a darker grey.
Each of the contents folders can be closed by clicking on that folder again allowing the user to view other topics on the content menu.
Help Index is an alphabetical index of help topics. Users can use the scroll bar to locate the topic they wish to access or they can type in a key word to search the index.
Clicking on some topics will expand the help selections.
The user can type in a word to search for in the help index. Search will return all the pages where that key word is found.
If you would like to print a particular help topic, you must highlight what you want to print by holding down the left mouse button.
Then right click to bring up a menu where you can select the print option.
This will bring up the print menu, click on selection in the page range and then the print button or in some cases the OK button.
Users can also access and download the entire IQSweb help document. Click on IQSweb Home on the bottom left of your IQS screen. From there click on software/documentation. Click on the link to the printed help. You can save the PDF file to your local PC and search and print topics as needed.
