When you Transfer In individuals, you will be given a list of any new Job and Training codes that could be added to your database because they are in the file for the person being added and they do not currently exist in your database. You will have the chance to reject those codes at that time. Issuers, certifiers and Incidents will be added to your database if not found. The following data is included or excluded from the transfer process:
Persons
All Person information is included except:
State/NWCG and Orgs 1-5 (user is prompted to enter new orgs on Transfer In)
Station Address
Home Dispatch and Provider (user is prompted to enter on Transfer In)
Contact Numbers (phone, fax, pager)
Home Address
Quals Updated Date
Fitness
All Fitness information is included except:
The fitness certifier is not included if the certifier name is not found in the database the person is transferring into.
Qualifications
All Qualification information is included.
The Job Code/Hazard and Certifier are added if not found in the database the person is transferring into.
Training
All Training information is included except:
Instructor
Location is not included if the location is not found in the database the person is transferring into.
Agency is not included if the agency is not found in the database the person is transferring into.
The Course Code/Hazard is added if not found in the database the person is transferring into.
Experience
All Experience information is included.
The Job Code/Hazard and Incident Information are added if not found in the database the person is transferring into.
Task Books
All Task Book information is included.
The Job Code/Hazard, Issuer, and Certifier are added if not found in the database the person is transferring into.
Target Positions
All Target Position information is included.
The Job Code/Hazard is added if not found in the database the person is transferring into.
Other Rules
The person cannot be Transferred Out if they are in ROSS. They must be removed from ROSS before transferring them out of an IQS database.
The person cannot be Transferred back in to the same database if they are pending a Remove from ROSS - this should not occur, but the check is still performed.
