Delete or Restore User

Existing users can be deleted by a user with the Manager role.  When users are deleted from IQSweb, they are marked as deleted users, but remain in the database.  You can restore a user that has been deleted.

 

Steps to delete a user

  1. Left click on the Administration/Maintain Users menu option.

  2. Select the person to which you would like to delete by left clicking on the Drop-down list button  Drop-down list and left clicking on the person's name.  

  3. Left click on  Delete User.

  4. A dialog box will appear for you to choose either OK to delete the user or Cancel to not delete.

 

Note: User records are not actually deleted from the database.  They are marked for deletion.  Follow the steps below to restore a deleted user.

 

Steps to restore a user

  1. Left click on the Administration/Maintain Users menu option.
     

  2. Check the See Deleted Users checkbox to get a list of deleted users.

  3. Select the person to which you would like to restore by left clicking on the Drop-down list button  Drop-down list and left clicking on the person's name.  

  4. Left click on  Restore Deleted User.
     

  5. The user will be restored.  To see your user, un-check the See Deleted Users checkbox and then select the restored user from the User Name drop-down.
