Edit Task Books

Existing task books for a person can be edited.

 

Steps to edit Task Books

  1. Place your cursor over Certifications and left click on the sub-option Task Books.

  2. The top portion of this screen is display only.  The information displayed was entered through the Person/Org menu option.

  3. Select the person to which you would like to edit task books by left clicking on the Drop-down list button Drop-down list or by typing in the person's name.  

  4. Find the task book that you would like to edit and left click on the Edit button  Edit on  that task book's line.

  5. A pop-up window will appear.  Enter the changes.

  6. When editing a date you can either enter the date manually or left click on the Calendar button Calendarand select by left clicking the date.  The Expiration Date is automatically calculated or it can be manually entered.

  7. The fields that are displayed in green are required fields.

  8. You can use the drop-down lists to select data by left clicking on the Drop-down list button Drop-down list.  Then left click on the data you would like to select.  You can also select data by using your up and down arrow keys on your computer keyboard to navigate through the list.

  9. Use your Tab key on your computer keyboard to navigate through the fields or left click on each individual field.

  10. Left click on the X at the top right hand side of the window to close or you can left click on the Cancel button as well.

  11. Left click on the OK button  to save the edited information.

  12. Left click on the Cancel button   if you do not wish to save.
     

  13. After saving your changes, a box with text will appear below the grid.  This box explains how associated qualification and target positions may be affected by the task book edits.  For example, an associated Trainee qualification will be updated to Job when the task book is completed.
