Edit Incidents

Existing Incidents within IQS can be edited.

 

Steps to edit Incidents

  1. Place your cursor over the menu item Post and left click on the sub-option Incidents/Experience.

  2. Locate the incident that you would like to edit.  You can do this by typing in the incident number or name in the "Search Incident Number or Name for:" search box.  This is located at the top of the screen.  Once you have typed in the information left click on Go or press the Enter key on your computer keyboard.  

  3. To navigate between pages of the table you can either use the Next link button  or use the drop down list Page drop down list to choose the page you would like to view.

  4. Left click  the Edit button Edit located to the left of the selected incident.

  5. Enter your changes.

  6. Fields that are highlighted in green are required fields.

  7. When entering a date you can either enter the date manually or left click on the Calendar button Calendarand select by left clicking the date.

  8. You can use the drop-down lists to select data by left clicking on the Drop-down list button Drop-down list.  Then left click on the data you would like to select.  You can also select data by using your up and down arrow keys on your computer keyboard to navigate through the list.

  9. Use your Tab key on your computer keyboard to navigate through the fields or left click on each individual field.

  10. Left click on the Update button Update  to save the new information.

  11. Left click on the Cancel button  Cancel if you do not wish to save.
