Schedule Training

This screen allows the user to add, edit or delete scheduled training courses and add, edit or delete instructors and coordinators for the course.   Much of the information you supply for each course is used when printing a course roster and is also transferred to an individual’s training record and instructor history when a course is completed.   

 

Steps to Schedule Training

  1. Select Training/Course Schedule from the IQS menu.

  2. Click on the course code link  of the course you would like to select.

  3. The screen which is displayed above will appear.  You can add, edit or delete scheduled courses from this screen.

  4. You can also add, edit, and delete Instructors from this screen as well.  See Instructors for further information.

*Course Code

(Char, 10)

Code for the course that has been selected.

Hazard Type

(Char, 2)

Type of the hazard which the course pertains to.  (Display only - Course Code list)

Course Title

(Char, 100)

Title of the course that has been selected.  (Display only - Course Code list)

*Start Date

(DateTime)

Date the course is scheduled to begin.  Date format mm/dd/yyyy.  Click on calendar icon to select the date to be entered.

End Date

(DateTime)

Date the course is scheduled to end.  Date format mm/dd/yyyy.  Click on calendar icon to select the date to be entered.

Session Number

(Char,10))

Session number if multiple courses of the same title are scheduled on the same day.

Location

(Char, 50)

Name of the facility hosting the scheduled course.  (Drop-down list)

Start Time

(Char, 4)

Time the course is scheduled to start in military time (i.e. 0900).

End Time

(Char, 4)

Time the course is scheduled to end in military time (i.e. 1630).

Sponsor

(Char, 50)

Name of agency sponsoring course.  (Drop-down list)

Max Size

(Numbers/Byte, 8)

Maximum number of students allowed to attend course.

Hours

(Numbers/Double, 8)

Length of course in hours.

Comments

(Char, 225)

Any pertinent comments pertaining to course schedule.

Priority

(Number/Byte, 1)

Priority for course being conducted during current fiscal year.

Tuition

(Number/Double, 8)

Amount of tuition being charged for the class.

Total Training Costs

(Number)

Dollar amount that represents the total agency costs to provide the course.

Comments

(Char, 256)

Any comments pertinent to the scheduled course.
